Tiffany & Co 'English King' Pattern Sterling Silver Soup Ladle, late 19th century

This is a great soup ladle by Tiffany in their classic 'English King' pattern which is designed with robust shells and foliage on the front and back of the handle. This very desirable soup ladle has a deep shell bowl with lovely fluting.  A script engraved 'PLC' monogram is at the top of the handle.

This wonderful large ladle is marked 'TIFFANY & CO/ STERLING/ PAT 1885/ M'.  It measures 12.75 inches long, weighs 10.85 troy ounces and is in very good antique condition.
